May 27, 2023 The Arizona Diamondbacks invited Rhett Doherty to throw out the first pitch in remembrance of Hollis and to recognize Brain Cancer Awareness Month.
When Hollis passed away his tumor was donated to the scientists at Tgen and they were tasked with researching to find a cure for this horrific disease. Today Tgen works with clinicians participating in clinical trials on DIPG. They are an important scientific partner in unlocking the mysteries of DIPG.
The 6th graders at Madison Meadows get to make a mural in their art class and decided to honor Hollis and fight DIPG with theirs! We are so honored while being emotionally filled and overwhelmed at the same time!
